About the Position

Łukasiewicz – Warszawski Instytut Technologiczny is seeking a Junior Specialist for their Property Safety Laboratory, offering research and development opportunities in accredited research.

Responsibilities

• Participation in laboratory research and research and development projects
• Conducting research, measurements, and activities related to the evaluation of the properties of tested products
• Preparing test cards, test reports, and reports
• Involvement in developing research results and technical documentation
• Direct contact with laboratory clients and ongoing coordination of communication within the conducted research
• Applying the Book of Quality, General Quality Assurance Procedures, and instructions in force in the laboratory
• Participation in local inspections related to opinions in proceedings concerning concessions from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration
• Cooperation in activities related to maintaining the laboratory's accreditation in accordance with the requirements of PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 and PCA documents
• Ensuring ongoing supervision over assigned equipment, infrastructure, and research apparatus
• Opportunity to participate in work on various research areas carried out in the Property Safety Laboratory

Requirements

• Higher education – preferably engineering or master's, especially in the field of mechanics, mechatronics, or related fields
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience
• General technical knowledge in the field of machinery construction
• Technical knowledge or practical experience in the construction of at least one of the following groups of products:
  • Devices for storing valuables
  • Doors for rooms
  • Deposit systems
  • Safe containers
  • Locks, latches, and high-security locks, HSL
  • Building fittings and padlocks with accessories
  • Drum liners
  • Door handles and door knobs with discs
  • Doors, windows, protective walls, grilles, and blinds
  • Weapons and ammunition
• Category B driving license
• English at a communicative level
