About the Position
We are seeking a Mobile Software Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in Kotlin to join our technical team in Milano, Italy. The individual will contribute to the design, development, and evolution of multi-platform software solutions, working autonomously on implementation decisions, integration with external devices and systems, and continuous improvement of product quality.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing technical and functional requirements and translating them into reliable and scalable cross-platform software solutions.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining multi-platform software applications and components in Kotlin.
- Contributing to the definition of the software architecture, promoting modularity, code reuse, and maintainability across different target platforms.
- Integrating applications and external devices through communication protocols and interfaces.
- Defining and executing tests, performing debugging activities, and analyzing results to ensure software quality, robustness, and performance.
- Participating in code reviews and proposing technical, architectural, and process improvements.
- Collaborating with developers, product teams, and technical stakeholders in integration, troubleshooting, and release activities for the solutions.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or related technical disciplines.
- 2 to 5 years of professional experience in software development.
- Proven experience in developing cross-platform applications with Kotlin.
- Knowledge of software design principles, modular architectures, and development practices focused on quality and code reusability.
- Experience with Git, code review, testing, and debugging tools.
- Experience integrating with Bluetooth, NFC, USB-C, and the MODBUS protocol is a plus.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in Agile development teams will be considered a plus.
- Operational autonomy, analytical skills, precision, problem-solving, and a predisposition to teamwork.
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
- Availability for business trips and relocation will be considered a plus.
- Strong motivation to embrace TMC's Employeneurship model.
We Offer
The position includes a permanent employment contract and a Gross Annual Salary (RAL) starting from €34,000, in compliance with the National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL) for Commerce – Tertiary, Distribution, and Services. TMC is committed to offering a competitive remuneration package. At the end of the selection process, after assessing the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, the company may propose a final RAL exceeding the amount indicated above.
In line with our business model, the final remuneration package also includes:
- A component of profit sharing from the project.
- An annual personal budget for training and professional development amounting to €4,000 net.
- An annual welfare credit.
Further details will be provided during the selection process, in accordance with applicable company policies.
