About Woven by Toyota
Woven by Toyota is contributing to Toyota's transformation into a mobility company once in a century. Inspired by the history of inventing "for someone else," our mission is to expand the definition of mobility and the ways it can contribute to society, challenging the conventional wisdom of mobility with people-focused innovation.
We operate around four pillars: AD/ADAS for autonomous driving and advanced driver assistance systems technology, Arene for vehicle software production platform for SDV (Software Defined Vehicle), Woven City as a mobility test course, and Cloud & AI as the digital infrastructure supporting the cooperative foundation. Together, we are committed to achieving a "zero-accident society" and "mass production of happiness."
About the Team
Toyota redefines the meaning of mobility. We move people, things, information, and energy, continually challenging the conventional wisdom of mobility. Woven City, as a test course, aims to produce happiness by creating and testing various types of mobility in a city concept centered around people, a city of real experiments, and an unfinished city.
Woven City brings together diverse colleagues who share a vision for future mobility. Inventors, residents, and visitors will live and demonstrate various products and services in a city-shaped test course where people, mobility, and social infrastructure are interconnected.
The Mobility Infrastructure team defines and develops the cloud infrastructure for providing Woven City services outside of Woven City. This team will grasp the current As-Is architecture and define a re-architecture suitable for providing stable services. When products are launched outside of Woven City, technical operational services may be required. This team needs to prepare not only cloud infrastructure but also technical operational services such as contact centers, NOC, and SOC. Operational processes also need to be considered to adapt to the market outside of Woven City.
