Proxsys is seeking a Modern Workplace Engineer to enhance and maintain secure IT environments for our diverse clientele, ranging from healthcare institutions to government organizations and SMEs to provinces. This role offers you the opportunity to think tactically and innovate, focusing on making our IT environments smarter, safer, and more efficient. Your ideas will be central to our operations!

Responsibilities

• Cloud and Device Management: Set up modern workplaces, monitor baselines, and manage settings within client environments.
• Process Optimization and Automation: Prevent manual, repetitive tasks through smart scripts and new workflows, and contribute to the improvement or expansion of existing tools.
• Software and Patch Management: Ensure systems remain secure, up-to-date, and compliant using tools like Microsoft Intune, Datto RMM, Simeon Cloud, and Robopack.
• Dashboard Monitoring and Action Alerts: Proactively monitor and take necessary actions, and actively identify improvement opportunities in security, performance, and user experience.
• Security Assurance and Collaboration with SOC: Regularly consult with our security team, address vulnerabilities, and contribute to the safety of our IT environment.
• Working within ITIL Processes: Contribute to incident, change, and problem management, ensuring structure in management.
• Client Collaboration: Coordinate updates and maintenance, and collaborate on the best approaches.

Requirements

• Qualifications:
  • Minimum HBO work and thinking level.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, and Windows Server.
  • Knowledge of PowerShell and automation.
  • Knowledge of baselines in Microsoft 365.
