Even young professionals have a chance to find their professional start with us! We are currently looking for a Module Design Engineer (m/w/d) in Schwäbisch Hall.
Responsibilities
- Development and design of components for premium aircraft seats
- Responsibility for components and modules throughout the entire product lifecycle
- Creation of technical concepts considering ergonomics, weight, cost, and design
- Creation of design drafts and technical solutions for new modules and customer-specific adjustments
- Creation, maintenance, and review of BOMs in the PLM system (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter)
- Participation in interdisciplinary project teams with development, testing, and production
- Creation and review of technical documentation such as specifications, construction documents, and module requirements
- Coordination of tests and simulations for components and modules
- Management and coordination with external development service providers and suppliers
Requirements
- Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or similar
- Several years of experience in the development and design of lightweight structures
- Very good knowledge of CAD systems, ideally CATIA V5
- Experience with PLM systems such as Siemens Teamcenter for managing BOMs and technical data
- Understanding of system integration and collaboration in development projects
- Very good German and English language skills
- Structured working method, initiative, and problem-solving skills
