Monetization Analyst

About the Position

SciPlay is a leading developer and publisher of digital games on mobile and web platforms, providing highly entertaining free-to-play games that millions of people play every day for their authenticity, engagement, and fun. We are currently seeking a Monetization Analyst to join our team in Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Query databases with efficient HQL/SQL queries
• Analyze query results using Excel or other statistical tools
• Create weekly presentations to report the status of Social/Mobile games to management
• A/B Test status reporting
• Identify areas of opportunity from analysis and brainstorm creative solutions with the team
• Ad hoc Reporting

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or a relevant area
• Experience: 3+ years of professional analytics, statistics, or engineering experience
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in SQL, HQL, and MySQL
  • Understanding of relational databases
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Familiarity with other statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, SAS, R) is a plus
  • Ability to present analysis in a group setting
  • Clear and effective communication of complex ideas and analysis
  • Ability to work with little direction, self-directed
  • General understanding of programming concepts and methodology is a plus
  • Agile/Scrum software development experience is a plus
  • Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
