About the Position

Motion Designer

VML Prague is looking for a Motion Designer who can bring creative concepts, visuals, or footage to life with motion, rhythm, and vitality.

You will work on content for various brands, platforms, and formats - from social media and digital campaigns to web, e-commerce, DOOH, TV, or internal communications. You will combine animation, editing, compositing, and post-production, along with numerous adaptations and smart ways to efficiently deliver creative content in all necessary formats.

Responsibilities

• Create animations and video content according to creative concepts and brand guidelines
• Convert master visuals into various formats, lengths, and platforms
• Prepare content for social media, digital campaigns, web, e-commerce, DOOH, TV, and internal communications
• Create language and local variations, cut-downs, resizys, and other adaptations
• Animate typography, packshots, products, illustrations, and photographs
• Work with footage, editing, compositing, and post-production
• Prepare templates and efficient workflows for repeated content production
• Ensure technical quality and correctness of outputs before delivery
• Collaborate with creative directors, designers, editors, producers, project managers, and account teams

Requirements

• Adobe After Effects at a very good level
• Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator at a good level
• 2D animation of graphics, typography, products, and logos
• Understanding of motion principles, timing, rhythm, and easings
• Video editing and audio work
• Familiarity with exports, codecs, resolution, frame rate, color profiles, and technical specifications of various media
• Prepare outputs for vertical, square, landscape, and non-standard formats
• Basic knowledge of 3D tools such as Cinema 4D, Blender, or Element 3D is a plus
• Familiarity with Figma, asset management, and AI tools

If you can work with expressions, MOGRT, or other tools for creating smart and reusable templates, we will be delighted. Also, if you enjoy finding ways to make production faster, more efficient, and without unnecessary manual work.
