Motorola Solutions - Field Support Engineer

We’re now looking for a Field Support Engineer to join our System Support team in Denmark. You’ll become part of a highly skilled and collaborative group of specialists who work closely together to solve complex technical challenges and support customers when it matters most.
The team is based in Glostrup and supports Motorola TETRA systems across Denmark, as well as projects in the Nordic and Baltic regions. The environment is professional, supportive, and informal - with a good sense of humor along the way.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting, maintaining, and upgrading TETRA system hardware and software at customer sites and Switch centers
- Installing, commissioning, and supporting TETRA and related communication products
- Diagnosing faults, replacing defective equipment, and performing technical support activities both on-site and remotely
- Collaborating with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, engineering teams, and internal project teams
- Supporting field observations, reporting technical trends or defects, and helping improve service quality
- Participating in customer meetings and supporting projects across the Nordic and Baltic regions when needed
- Taking part in a 24/7 on-call rotation and working flexible hours depending on project requirements
Requirements
- An education as Elektronikfagtekniker, Tele-tekniker, Elektronikmekaniker, an engineering degree, or equivalent technical background
- At least 3 years of experience within system engineering or technical support for telecommunications systems
- Knowledge of IP technology and IP networking, including practical networking experience and preferably a CompTIA+ or equivalent certification
- A good understanding of IT and telecommunications hardware and software, combined with strong practical troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of RF technology, communication systems, and preferably TETRA technology and Motorola system solutions
- Experience performing system software and hardware maintenance and technical support routines
- Understanding of technical support and maintenance service principles
- Strong interpersonal and customer communication skills, with fluent communication in both Danish and English
- A valid category B driving licence
