Motorsport Solutions Specialist – Formula 1 (m/f/d)

About the Position

RIEDEL Communications is the leading provider of live production tools in the media, sports, and entertainment sectors. We are seeking a Motorsport Solutions Specialist – Formula 1 (m/f/d) to join our Managed Technology division. This role will cover our customers' needs holistically, offering a comprehensive service from project planning to on-site implementation. Responsibilities

• Actively support the racing team in the planning, preparation, and execution of motorsport projects worldwide.
• Install, configure, and maintain analog and digital voice radio systems.
• Set up, operate, and support wireless and wired communication networks on site.
• Deploy and maintain smaller-scale IT infrastructures in event and racing environments.
• Collaborate closely with RIEDEL colleagues on site as well as with Formula 1 teams.
• Troubleshoot technical issues down to module level and create detailed reports for on-site teams and the headquarters in Wuppertal.
• Document all completed events thoroughly and in a structured manner.

Requirements

• Completed technical training or academic background in a relevant field (e.g. mechatronics, event or IT technology, electronics, communications technology).
• Passion for working with radio, intercom, audio, and IT systems.
• Hands-on experience in motorsport, broadcast, or event technology (strong plus).
• High willingness to travel, flexibility, and ability to work independently.
• Enthusiasm for end-to-end project execution and on-site work.
• Strong customer orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) and a valid Class B driving license.
