To the PTV Group platform MyPTV

More and more software-as-a-service instead of on-premise solutions: With this sales realignment, the need for a high-performance marketing and sales platform arose at PTV Group. As an expert in the optimization of algorithms, simulation, modeling and real-time traffic management, the company serves the mobility, transport and consulting segments.

Web-based sales model

PTV Group develops and sells simulation software for traffic, mobility and logistics - for example, for route planning and traffic planning, simulations or the calculation of transport costs. Its customers, many of whom have been with the company for many years, include around 2,500 cities in more than 120 countries.

In addition to the previous products for local installation, software-as-a-service solutions are now available bundled on the MyPTV platform.

When we started working for the company, the first question was about the system. Together with the customer, we decided on the Drupal content framework as the technological basis. Due to its high scalability, connectivity to existing systems and import options for existing content, it provides everything for an optimal system architecture. Within the framework of a multi-domain concept, the sharing of content and functions across multiple instances is possible without any problems.

User-centric alignment for Drupal platform

In the further course, we developed the platform solution from conception to implementation. Using agile methods, we first worked with PTV to develop the structure of the website and created suitable designs. In doing so, we focused on precisely addressing the various target groups with their respective interests. Using Drupal including specific modules as a basis, we implemented the application and integrated it into the existing infrastructure of the PTV Group.

Following the implementation project, continuous updates of the platform as well as further developments according to new requirements of PTV are planned.

Mobility solutions on a global platform

Following this launch, the company is present on a corporate website as well as on multilingual subpages and landing pages on the web. With software for transport logistics, traffic planning and management, PTV Group makes mobility more efficient, safer and more environmentally friendly. PTV customers set up their personal account with the desired product demos on MyPTV via an interface and can call them up there.

With the MyPTV platform, the company is realizing its current, web-based sales strategy and is aligning its business to be efficient and fit for the future.

For our new website, the focus was on customer centricity, usability and a clear structure despite multilingualism and portfolio complexity. Thanks to the new multi-domain concept based on Drupal, we can now keep our web presences centrally up-to-date while remaining flexible, e.g. with regard to new languages or product releases. The UEBERBIT team accompanied us from the beginning with great expertise in conception, UX and technology for our online measures. We appreciate the professional and cooperative collaboration and look forward to future projects.
