Murex Back Office Support Consultant

About the Position

We are looking for a Murex Back Office Support Consultant to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru, India. Provide L2/L3 support for Murex BO issues in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for Murex BO (Back Office) issues in a production environment.
• Monitor and resolve incidents, service requests, and change requests related to Murex workflows and BO modules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in trade confirmations, settlements, payments, and accounting within Murex.
• Investigate and resolve STP (Straight-Through Processing) breaks and reconciliation issues.
• Support batch processes (EOD/Intraday), reporting issues, and interfaces between Murex and other upstream/downstream systems (Swift, accounting systems).
• Participate in release management, testing, and deployment activities related to system changes.
• Document incident resolutions, known errors, and standard procedures.
• Provide on-call/off-hours support as required.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience in Murex application support, with at least 5 years focused on Back Office modules.
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle and settlement processes for various asset classes (Equities, Commodities, etc.).
• Experience with Murex workflows, confirmations, settlements, accounting (Datamart knowledge is a plus).
• Proficiency in SQL, Unix/Linux scripting, and batch job monitoring tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
