About the Position
Murex Configuration and Release Manager
Luxoft Financial Services, a top-tier Murex Alliance Partner, is seeking a Murex Configuration and Release Manager with 10-15 years of relevant experience in Murex environment management for a remote position in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Understand the day-to-day activities of a CEM Consultant with a focus on Murex environment management.
- Review configuration, release controls, and deployments.
- Understand responses to customer queries related to environment configuration.
- Assist customers with the setup of launchers, wrapper scripts, load balancing, and launcher allocations.
- Review processes to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to environment instability, bottlenecks, and/or poor performance.
- Provide updates on the progress to the internal team.
- Review processes for EOD batch monitoring and incident management.
- Analyze and manage incidents/problems/requests, working closely with the project team.
- Maintain a knowledge base for the applications and processes in the scope of the team on the Wiki.
- Provide requirements to the build team for bug fixing and continuous improvements.
- Recommend automation for testing and releases.
Requirements
Must Have
- 10-15 years of relevant experience; Understanding of Configuration and Environment Management is a must.
- Previous experience leading in Murex environment management.
- Experience with tools: UNIX, SQL, JAMS (or similar Job Scheduling tool).
- Shell scripting.
- DevOps experience (a plus).
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with modern Continuous Integration processes and toolchains.
Nice to Have
- SQL; XML;
- Other scripting languages.
