Murex Configuration and Release Manager

About the Position

Luxoft Financial Services, a top-tier Murex Alliance Partner, is seeking a Murex Configuration and Release Manager for a remote position in the United States. With a strong focus on Murex environment management, this role involves overseeing day-to-day activities, reviewing configurations, and ensuring smooth deployments.

Responsibilities

• Understand the daily activities of a CEM Consultant with a focus on Murex environment management.
• Review configuration, release controls, and deployments.
• Understand responses to customer queries related to environment configuration.
• Assist customers with the setup of launchers, wrapper scripts, load balancing, and launcher allocations.
• Review processes to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to environment instability, bottlenecks, and/or poor performance.
• Provide updates on progress to the internal team.
• Review processes for EOD batch monitoring and incident management.
• Analyze and manage incidents/problems/requests, working closely with the project team.
• Maintain a knowledge base for the applications and processes in scope of the team on the Wiki.
• Provide requirements to the build team for bug fixing and continuous improvements.
• Recommend automation for testing and releases.

Requirements

• Must have

  • 10-15 years of relevant experience; Understanding of Configuration and Environment Management is a must.
  • Previous experience leading in Murex environment management.
  • Experience with tools: UNIX, SQL, JAMS (or similar Job Scheduling tool).
  • Shell scripting.
  • DevOps experience (a plus).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience with modern Continuous Integration processes and toolchains.

  • SQL; XML.
  • Other scripting languages.
