Murex Datamart Developer

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Murex Datamart Developer with strong expertise to support regulatory reporting initiatives in Bengaluru, India. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting Murex Datamart solutions, troubleshooting data processing issues, and ensuring accurate data availability for downstream regulatory and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Murex Datamart components for regulatory reporting requirements.
• Work extensively with Murex Datamart architecture and dynamic tables.
• Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries to support reporting and data extraction needs.
• Investigate and resolve feeder failures and data loading issues within the Murex platform.
• Analyze and troubleshoot data discrepancies across Murex environments.
• Support production issues and provide timely resolution for Datamart-related incidents.
• Collaborate with business analysts, Murex consultants, and stakeholders to understand requirements and implement solutions.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend improvements to enhance system stability and performance.
• Assist in testing, deployment, and post-implementation support activities.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience working with Murex.
• Strong understanding of Murex Datamart architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Murex dynamic tables.
• Strong SQL development skills, including query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience debugging and resolving feeder failure issues.
• Good understanding of regulatory reporting data flows within Murex.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience troubleshooting and debugging MXML-related issues.
• Exposure to Murex reporting and regulatory reporting modules.
• Experience working in Capital Markets or Treasury environments.
• Knowledge of release management and production support processes.
