About the Position
We are seeking a Murex Environment Support Consultant to manage Murex environments, EOD, and related infrastructure in Mumbai, India. This role involves supporting various batches, configuring scripts, performing housekeeping jobs, and troubleshooting issues.
Responsibilities
- Supporting Pre-Core, Core, Accounting, Var, CVA, and MLC batches.
- Assisting the service delivery team with the design and implementation of new batches.
- Configuring processing scripts, feeders, and stored procedures for various modules and debugging related issues.
- Performing/Monitoring daily/monthly housekeeping jobs related to Accounting, Market Data, etc.
- Performing ad hoc operational requests such as generating on-demand reports, file transfer, and housekeeping activities.
- Liaising with vendors to run diagnostics and troubleshooting for EOD issues.
- Monitoring and tuning the performance of overall EOD.
- Performing sanity checks in Murex UI such as workflows, real-time data, etc.
- Working with DBAs to troubleshoot performance issues with DB that impact the EOD batches.
- Extracting Murex reports batches/LRB and sharing with users.
- Analyzing the vulnerabilities raised on the application and infrastructure and remediating them.
- Managing Murex Environments hosted on Cloud (AWS).
Requirements

Must have
- 5-10 years of total working experience.
- 5 to 7 years of Murex experience, specifically in Environment management.
- Very good exposure in Environment Management using On-Prem and preferably Cloud Based environments experience in AWS-hosted Murex environments.
- Must have experience in Murex EOD, Troubleshooting, and Optimization Techniques. EOD optimization & performance tuning.
- Good to have understanding of various modules of Murex (MXML/MLC/Realtime, etc.) and Integration.
- Must have basic understanding of Murex Reporting (Feeder/batch of feeder/Extractions, etc.).
- Understanding of Unix Shell Scripting or Python, SQL, and PL/SQL.

- Datamart skills.
- Familiar with change and release management process and CI/CD workflows and tooling, ITIL.
- Understanding of AI (Generative/Agentic) is good to have.
