About the Position
We are seeking a Murex Technical Engineer with 3+ years experience in Murex environments to join our team in Remote Mexico. Whether you possess a background in finance, technology, or Mathematics, your experience in the capital markets industry would be of high interest to us.
Responsibilities
- Murex Batch and performance SME
- Review Murex processing and optimize
- Update and enhance overnight batch processing
Requirements
- 3+ years experience with Murex environments
- 3+ years experience with reporting, processing (workflows, integration)
- Linux and associated tools
- Experience with scheduling software
- Some script or programming language experience (Perl, Python, KSH, BASH, JAVA)
- Experience with distributed and multi processing
- Strong personality, logical and analytical skills
- Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner, and self-starter
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Must have strong organization skills
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong relationship building skills both internally and externally
- Strong experience in supporting end-users and resolving their daily issues
- Working EST hours
Nice to Have
- BS or higher degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent
- Web development experience
- Implementations and upgrades: MXpress; MXplus updates and MX.3 main-branch upgrades
- Interfaces (Market Data, C2.0)
- Test management
- Trade life cycle management
- Market Data management
- Knowledge in SQL (Oracle and/or Sybase) and Unix commands
