About the Position

We are seeking a Head of Tax, Financial, and Statistical Reporting Department to oversee tax, financial, and statistical reporting for our company in Kyiv.

Responsibilities

• Organization of the work of the tax, financial, and statistical (regulatory) reporting department.

• Monitoring changes in the tax legislation of Ukraine, making appropriate changes to the regulatory documents of the Company.

• Ensuring timely, complete, and accurate reflection in the tax accounting of transactions carried out by the Company in accordance with the requirements of regulatory documents.

• Reviewing and approving primary documents, including foreign currency agreements for foreign currency operations, from the perspective of compliance with tax and currency legislation.

• Preparing the Company's tax returns, specifically the income tax declaration, checking the formation of consolidated reports on personal income tax and VAT regarding payments to individuals and entrepreneurs that do not relate to wages, participation in the preparation of financial statements.

• Ensuring timely tax settlements with tax authorities, providing information for the Company's payment calendar and ordering tax financing, providing information on the amounts (broken down by taxes and fees) monthly transferred to the budget upon request from financial services.

• Supporting the audit of tax authorities and other authorized state bodies related to taxes.

• Preparing and providing necessary information for the Company's audit.

Requirements

• Higher education in accounting, finance, or economics.

• Fluent in Ukrainian.

• Experience: in a similar position in another insurance company (will be a plus).
