About the Position

We are seeking a Head of Information Protection and Cybersecurity to lead our team in ensuring robust information security and cyber defense strategies.

About the Company

ІНФОТЕХ is a state IT company under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. For over 8 years, we have been developing and implementing software products under the MIA brand. Additionally, ІНФОТЕХ is an official IT solutions provider for government institutions. Our projects cover a wide range of areas, including cryptographic protection, digital transformation, and IT solutions for healthcare, education, finance, public administration, and telecommunications.

Responsibilities

• Organization and Coordination: Oversee the entire enterprise-level operations of the Department.
• Strategic Direction: Define the strategic direction of the Department, organize the formation of policies and procedures in the field of information security.
• Interdepartmental Interaction: Collaborate with other structural divisions of the enterprise.
• Compliance Control: Monitor the implementation of technical and organizational measures for information protection and compliance with national legislation and international standards (ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, etc.).
• Incident Management: Lead the processes of detection, response, investigation, and mitigation of cyber incidents.
• Audit and Testing: Organize regular audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with government agencies, regulators, and partners in the cybersecurity field.
• Reporting: Prepare reports for the company's management on the level of information security and risk assessment.
• Team Development: Develop the team by planning resources, mentoring, and conducting training to improve the qualifications of department employees.
• Cryptographic Protection: Organize activities to ensure cryptographic protection of information.
• Problem Solving: Address problematic issues.

Requirements

• Education: Higher education in information security, IT, or related fields.
• Knowledge: Deep understanding of IT infrastructure architecture, principles of building security systems, network-level protocols, and monitoring systems.
• Experience: Experience in developing information security policies, incident response plans, and threat intelligence analysis.
• Standards: Knowledge of international security standards, the legal framework of Ukraine in the field of information security, and critical infrastructure protection standards.
• Skills: Proficiency in risk assessment methods, threat analysis, and development of comprehensive measures to minimize them.
• Leadership: Experience in successfully leading teams, ability to set goals and monitor their achievement.
• Attributes: System thinking, strategic vision, responsibility, and initiative.
• Languages: Fluent in Ukrainian, English at an intermediate level sufficient for reading technical documentation.
