About the Position
Network Architect – Tieto Banktech (m/f/d)
Are you a curious and engaged Network Architect who wants to contribute to the further development of our private cloud platform in one of the leading Nordic fintech environments?
Responsibilities
- Building and further developing network and platform services for a business-critical private cloud platform, based on NSX
- Actively working to improve governance, standards, and processes for networks and platforms
- Developing solutions for observability and increased visibility in network traffic, including the use of the Grafana stack
- Extensively using CNCF projects and modern technologies to build scalable and robust solutions
- Working according to DevOps principles and closely collaborating with development teams
- Practicing GitOps using GitHub
Requirements
- Higher education in computer science, data technology, or equivalent, and experience with network architecture and operation of complex IT environments
- Solid understanding of infrastructure, cloud services, and automation, preferably with tools like Terraform
- Experience with programming/scripting, preferably in Python
- Comfortable with Linux as a working platform
- Knowledge of modern network technologies and virtualization, preferably NSX, and experience with AWS and relevant services
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to take a goal and translate it into concrete and feasible solution proposals
- Actively contribute to the team, share knowledge, and provide constructive feedback
- Communicate well in Norwegian or another Nordic language, as well as English – both verbally and in writing
Nice to Have
- Experience with documentation-as-code using MkDocs
