RIEDEL Communications is the leading provider of live production tools in the media, sports, and entertainment sectors. To comprehensively meet the needs of our clients, we are divided into three business areas: Product Division, Managed Technology, and Riedel Networks!

Our Managed Technology division rents our audio, video, IT, and communication solutions for international live events and offers comprehensive service from project planning to on-site implementation. This includes not only festivals like Rock am Ring or sports events like Formula 1 or the Super Bowl, but also ensuring a goosebump experience for all guests.

As a Network Operations Specialist (m/w/d), you will be part of our Remote Operations Team, monitoring, operating, and supporting our network and communication systems for international live events and broadcast productions. Together with your team, you will ensure that our systems function reliably worldwide and that technical challenges are resolved quickly.

Responsibilities

• You will monitor and operate our network, radio, and communication systems for international live events, broadcast productions, and media projects.
• You will manage events from our Remote Operations Center (ROC) and ensure smooth technical operations.
• You will set up systems, perform configuration adjustments, and assist in the commissioning of network and communication solutions.
• You will analyze technical failures, take over incident management, and ensure quick and sustainable troubleshooting.
• You will support our event and production teams in troubleshooting, optimizing, and operating network and communication services in the production environment.
• You will document incidents, operational processes, and technical changes and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes.
• You will work closely with internal departments and support the implementation of innovative solutions for broadcast, media, and event technologies.

Requirements

• Completed technical education or comparable qualification in IT, network technology, communication technology, or event technology.
• Initial to several years of experience in operating technical systems, ideally in the areas of network, broadcast, event, or communication technology.
• Good knowledge of network basics such as LAN, WAN, VPN, TCP/IP, and VLAN technologies.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and nights as part of international live productions.
• Enthusiasm for radio, intercom, audio, network, and communication systems.
• Structured and solution-oriented working style and enjoyment of troubleshooting under time pressure.
• Very good German and English skills.
• Experience with monitoring and management tools such as Zabbix, Jira, or Confluence is desirable.
