About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Network Specialist Virtualization to administer, monitor, and troubleshoot IP networks in Warsaw, Poland.
Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot IP networks
- Administer the structural cabling system
- Perform changes in physical and logical network configuration, including installing and removing devices and cabling connections
- Provide 2nd line support to client's system and network users
- Create and update technical documentation and operating procedures
- Advise on possible network improvements, changes, or upgrades to the network infrastructure
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of IT relevant professional experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Minimum English language skills (CEFR): B2
- Required certificates:
- Cisco CCNA
- VMware Network Virtualization
- Equivalent from other vendors
Knowledge
- Very good understanding of TCP/IP protocols and IP routing
- Very good understanding of Ethernet switching protocols
- Good knowledge of network services like DNS, DHCP, NTP, etc.
- Good understanding of wired and wireless access technologies (wifi, 802.1x/EAP, etc.)
- Good understanding of application-layer authentication and encryption mechanisms, e.g. HTTPS/SSL/TLS protocols, PKI, and X.509 certificates
- Hands-on experience with products and solutions related to the domain (e.g. Cisco routers and switches, wireless controllers, network firewalls, etc.)
- Hands-on experience in administering a large enterprise network
- Good knowledge of the network configuration of endpoint operating systems (Windows, Linux, IOS, etc.)
- Work experience with stateful and stateless traffic filtering
- Very good analytical and troubleshooting skills

Specific Requirements
- Very good knowledge of the VMware NSX-T platform
- Very good understanding of VMware ESX networking (e.g. distributed switching/routing/microsegmentation)
- Good knowledge of other virtualization platforms (Nutanix, Proxmox, etc)
- Good knowledge of network-level encryption (e.g. IPsec, IKE, DMVPN)
- Hands-on experience in configuration and troubleshooting of the Palo Alto next-generation firewalls and Panorama management system
- Hands-on experience in managing Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches
