- Synthesize research and market intelligence into clear, decision-ready recommendations for leadership.
- Lead due diligence on prospective new business opportunities, including market sizing, competitive positioning, and risk assessment.
- Build financial and operational models to evaluate the viability and expected return of new business opportunities.
- Partner with the Finance team early in the process to align business models, key assumptions, and ROI expectations before opportunities progress.
- Prepare business cases and supporting materials for review by the Future Business Operations Strategy Lead and senior stakeholders.
- Maintain and prioritize a pipeline of new business opportunities in partnership with the Future Business Operations Strategy Lead.
- Lead end-to-end management of strategic initiatives from ideation and opportunity assessment, through business case development, stakeholder alignment and planning, to execution and full implementation to ensure continuity and accountability across every stage.
- Build working relationships with Finance and relevant LOB stakeholders to gather input and validate assumptions.
- Contribute market and financial expertise to cross-LOB strategic initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in corporate strategy, corporate development, business development, investment banking, or management consulting.
- Demonstrated experience conducting market research, competitive benchmarking, and due diligence.
- Hands-on experience building financial and operational models to evaluate new business opportunities.
- Experience partnering with Finance teams on business case development and ROI analysis.
- Experience in Consumer Electronics, FinTech, Health, or Telecommunications a plus
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Excellent research and synthesis skills; able to distill complex information into clear recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing materials for senior leadership.
- Self-directed and comfortable operating with ambiguity in a newly formed function.
- Collaborative working style, with the ability to build trust with Finance and cross-functional partners.
