Applications Manager - Business Central

We are seeking a seasoned Applications Manager for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to join a well-established U.S. manufacturer based in Elkhorn, WI. This role is hybrid, combining on-site and remote work.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central for a manufacturing organization.
• Ensure Business Central supports core workflows across manufacturing, inventory, production, and finance.
• Partner with operations and finance to simplify processes, improve data accuracy, and reduce workarounds.
• Improve visibility into production, inventory, WIP, and costing using ERP-driven processes.
• Support reporting and dashboards that help leaders make better day-to-day decisions.
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners on system enhancements and upgrades.
• Play a key role in the company's broader digital transformation, including automation and smarter use of data.
• Help introduce modern tools (including AI and analytics) where they can drive real business value.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Understanding of manufacturing-focused ERP workflows (production, inventory, costing).
• Comfort working cross-functionally with operations and finance teams.
• A practical mindset-focused on making systems easier, cleaner, and more useful for end users.
• Interest in continuous improvement, automation, and modern ERP capabilities.
