About the Position
We are seeking a Node.js developer with 3+ years of experience in web development to join our team and work on high-traffic applications.
Responsibilities
- Designing, creating, and managing microservices and server APIs for high-traffic applications.
- Ability to clearly articulate ideas, experience, and problems.
- Writing clean, efficient, and reusable code.
- Making changes considering the analysis of website performance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of web development experience (rare exceptions for highly qualified candidates).
- Proficiency in Node.js and its frameworks such as Express, StrongLoop, etc.
- High-level proficiency in JavaScript.
- Proficiency in microservices and server APIs for modular, high-traffic web applications.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) with a 4-hour overlap with US time zones.
- High motivation and focus on improving knowledge and enhancing work results.
Nice to Have
- Experience with cross-browser compatibility and responsive design of applications.
- Basic understanding of advanced technologies.
- Experience with programming languages such as PHP, Python, Java, etc.
- Experience with GCP/AWS tools and version control systems like Git.
- Expert understanding of server-side logic and interface performance optimization.
- Experience working in Docker, Unix/Linux environments, including basic commands and scripts.
