Join our team as a Non-Destructive Inspection Technician for the 777X Composite Wings Center in Everett, Washington.
Responsibilities
- Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment
- Develops procedures and processes
- Conducts inspections with automated robotic equipment, analyzes data, and decides on acceptance or rejection of wing structures
- Documents and communicates failures with non-conformance records
- Provides feedback on adverse trends
- Conducts certification preparation training and testing
Requirements
- Certification: American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT)/NAS410-Compliant Level 2 Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- Experience: 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Physical Ability: Able to lift 30 pounds on a frequent basis
- Availability: Willing and able to work variable shifts
- Travel: Willing and able to travel 5% of the time
Nice to Have
- 3+ years of experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test)
- Current or prior certification from American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT)/NAS410-Compliant Level 2 in Ultrasonics (800 hours of documented On the Job Training and 80 hours of compliant classroom training)
- On-job-training hours submitted prior to interview
- 1+ years of experience with data analysis on non-destructive inspection software
- 1+ years of experience working both independently and in team environments
