About the Position

Office Manager

Alan, a leading European health insurance company focused on prevention, is seeking an Office Manager for their Dakar office. This role is pivotal in creating a positive workplace experience in Dakar, Senegal, and Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Dakar and Abidjan offices, including spaces, supplies, equipment, access, mail, and services.
• Coordinate with suppliers, manage purchases, invoices, and maintenance issues.
• Organize local events, team moments, offsites, and community rituals.
• Support Alaners traveling between hubs, particularly on transportation and logistics.
• Coordinate Workplace needs related to onboarding and offboarding, including workstations, badges, equipment, and access.
• Contribute to global Workplace projects and adapt processes to the local context.
• Structure documentation, improve processes, and identify tasks that can be simplified or automated.
• Work with local and global teams, including IT, People, Finance, and Workplace.

Requirements

• Authorized to work in Senegal and based in Dakar, or willing to relocate.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in Office Management, Workplace, Facilities, or a similar operational role.
• Autonomous, pragmatic, and comfortable in a growing environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, handle various suppliers and contacts.
• Combines a service mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to take initiative.
• Enjoys both the practical organization of daily tasks and the creation of collective experiences and moments.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Willing to travel occasionally between Dakar and Abidjan.
