OpenShift engineer Amersfoort

About the Position

We are a growing company in Amersfoort, Utrecht, leading in the world of cloud-native technologies. Our infrastructure runs on OpenShift and Kubernetes, and we are looking for an experienced engineer to join our team for our clients. You will work with the team to provide OpenShift implementations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize OpenShift and Kubernetes environments
• Design and implement scalable, secure container solutions
• Automate deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes
• Make architectural decisions for cloud infrastructure
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
• Monitor systems, ensuring high availability and quick problem resolution
• Document processes and best practices in Dutch

Requirements

Experience and Knowledge

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift
• In-depth knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Podman)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Experience with scripting (Python, Bash) and configuration management (Ansible)
• Knowledge of networking, security, and monitoring in cloud environments

Language and Communication

• Required: Fluent Dutch speaking and writing (verbal and written)
• Good communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly
• Experience working in a Dutch-speaking team

• Salary: €8,000 – €10,000 gross per month, depending on experience
• Travel reimbursement and phone allowance
