Position Title: Операційний директор (Chief Operating Officer)

NovaPay is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to ensure efficient financial services, compliance, operational excellence, and customer service in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring operational efficiency and optimization within the scope of the Chief Operating Officer.
• Developing and implementing operational development strategies to achieve company goals.
• Developing and implementing a business continuity plan to reduce operational risks.
• Developing and updating internal documents regulating business activities, policies, instructions, and technological maps.
• Ensuring client verification control in accordance with regulatory documents.
• Interacting with state regulatory authorities and participating in audits.
• Organizing the support, accounting, and control of transactional operations.
• Monitoring operations to improve existing systems and reduce costs.
• Identifying and tracking key performance indicators to measure operational productivity.
• Participating in collective bodies (committees, groups).
• Ensuring systematic reporting to the Supervisory Board.
• Implementing initiatives that prioritize customer service and maintain the company's reputation as a reliable financial institution.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in the banking/financial sector.
• Knowledge of current legislation for the operational activities of a financial institution and current regulatory requirements.
• Successful experience in developing and implementing strategies to achieve business goals.
• Experience managing large cross-functional teams.
• Experience interacting with state regulatory authorities and participating in audits.
• Experience implementing technological innovations and digital solutions in the banking environment.
• Impeccable reputation.

Education

• Higher education (technical, economic, financial).
• English language proficiency at B2 level and above.

First 3 Months Tasks

• Analyze operational processes and their compliance with internal documents and legislation.
• Build a control system for compliance of processes with regulatory documents.
• Identify key performance indicators to measure operational productivity.

Current Issues Leading to the Job Opening

Audits of financial monitoring have demonstrated process imperfections. It has been decided to bring in a manager who will ensure the control of these processes in operational activities.
