About the Position

Operational Buyer

Rheinmetall Hungary Zrt. in Zalaegerszeg is seeking a dedicated Operational Buyer to manage material availability and supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Secures on-time material availability for production
• First point of contact for production regarding material shortages
• Determines the volume to be ordered and calls off material from existing frame contracts
• Manages order confirmations and initiates escalation processes when necessary
• Communicates material changes with suppliers
• Participates in project meetings and prepares regular project updates

Requirements

• BSc degree in economics, industrial engineering, or a high school degree with several years of experience in supply chain
• Professional experience in operative purchasing or other fields of supply chain is an advantage
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to handle conflicts and work under pressure
• Proactiveness, team player
• Willingness to travel internationally
• Very good communication skills in English and Hungarian, German is an advantage
