About the Position

Operations Excellence Manager

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Employment Type: Full-time, On-site

Responsibilities

  • Driver Acquisition and Onboarding: Maintain an over-supplying effort by keeping a healthy and efficient process for driver acquisition and onboarding.
  • Community & Retention Management: Drive and lead communications, training, online community, engagement activities, and multiple business initiatives to build trust and loyalty with our driver partners across Thailand.
  • Leadership and Strategic Oversight: Provide leadership and strategic oversight for the Offline Presence function through the Assistant Manager who manages the team’s day-to-day operations.
  • Driver Engagement Initiatives: Guide the team in executing driver engagement initiatives that support Lalamove’s mission of “Painting the Roads Orange,” including vehicle sticker adoption across the driver network.
  • Offline Driver Outreach: Oversee the planning and effectiveness of offline driver outreach initiatives to strengthen driver engagement and brand visibility.
  • Operational Management: Ensure operational processes related to sticker inventory management, installation activities, and driver engagement programs are well managed by the team.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor team performance, KPIs, and operational outcomes, and provide direction to the Assistant Manager to continuously improve operational efficiency and impact.
  • Process Improvements: Support the Driver Operations Manager in identifying process improvements and operational enhancements for the offline presence and driver benefits programs.

Requirements

  • Leadership Skills: Ability to deal with a large and diverse Lalamove community.
  • Prioritization and Structured Mindset: Strong sense of prioritization and structured mindset to cover multiple tasks without compromising on quality.
  • Integrity: Strong integrity to make the best decisions for the company in every situation and stand firm without compromising.
  • Data-Driven: Ability to identify leverages and make the best decisions for the business in every situation.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to articulate ideas clearly and succinctly and use a structured approach with proven ability to create a framework which facilitates effective communication.
  • Educational Background: Degree holder with at least 5 years of operational/leadership experience, preferably in a logistics/e-commerce fulfillment environment.
  • Team Management: Team management experience with at least 3 direct reports, plus experience leading multiple functions/verticals.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects, plus experience working closely with regional or headquarter teams.
  • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of mobile and web technologies.
  • Personal Attributes: Positive & open-minded, result-oriented with strong business acumen.
  • Language Proficiency: Good command of both written and spoken English.
