At Target, we are seeking a dedicated Operations Manager to lead our Regional Distribution Center in Huntsville, AL. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient distribution of products to our guests, making it a critical function within our Logistics team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the Regional Distribution Center.
• Foster a "safety first" culture through awareness, training, and accountability.
• Engage and motivate the team to maximize productivity, growth, and development.
• Provide real-time observation and constructive feedback to create a positive work environment.
• Work with a sense of urgency to ensure operational plans are executed and performance and budget goals are achieved.
• Innovate with new approaches to process and method for efficiency and future process flow optimization.
• Find root causes to problems in an environment of calculated risk and testing.
• Collaborate with teams to meet business goals.

Requirements

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Good reasoning, conflict-management, and analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to access all areas of the Distribution Center, including mezzanine platforms.
• Ability to read and interpret necessary policies and procedures to perform updates and operate systems and other programs within the Distribution Center.
