Within the istaDES team at ista Netherlands, we manage and optimise communal heating, cooling and domestic hot water systems on behalf of housing associations, property owners and other professional clients. We support our clients with technical, operational and financial issues and actively contribute to making their systems more sustainable and future-proof.
To further strengthen our service offering, we are seeking an Operations Project Manager who will take ownership of their own portfolio of systems and who can effectively integrate technical aspects, operations, contract management and client interests. You will monitor performance, manage maintenance partners and identify opportunities to further improve reliability, sustainability and return on investment.
Our office is based in Schiedam.
Responsibilities
As an Operations Project Manager, you will be responsible for the technical, operational and financial performance of your own portfolio of district heating, cooling and domestic hot water systems. You will:
- Manage maintenance partners and suppliers and monitor the fulfilment of contractual agreements, quality and service delivery.
- Analyse performance, faults, maintenance data and financial results, and translate these into concrete improvement measures.
- Identify technical, operational and financial risks and ensure timely and appropriate follow-up.
- Monitor budgets, quotations, contracts and operating costs within your portfolio.
- Monitor Long-Term Maintenance Plans (MJOPs) and ensure the proper implementation of maintenance, renovation and replacement activities.
- Advise clients on the performance, investments, risks and sustainability options for their systems.
- Report periodically to clients on the technical, operational and financial status of the installations.
- Act as the designated point of contact for clients, maintenance partners and other relevant stakeholders.
- Actively contribute to the further professionalisation of services, processes and working methods within istaDES.
Requirements
- Higher vocational education (HBO) level of working and thinking, preferably in a technical field.
- Relevant experience in technical management, maintenance, operations or a similar technical environment.
- Interest in district heating, cooling and hot water systems or similar energy systems.
- Experience in managing maintenance and service contracts and external suppliers.
- Responsibility for your portfolio and ownership of technical, operational and financial issues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to switch easily between dealing with customers, suppliers, maintenance partners and internal stakeholders.
