About the Position

For an international company providing a broad range of services to the government and military sectors, we are looking for a dynamic and highly organized Operations Specialist to support the Management Board in the execution of the company’s core business and operational processes.

The successful candidate will provide direct support to the company’s CEO and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the company’s office in Breda, the Netherlands. The role involves frequent business travel, which is an integral part of the position: as well as day-to-day support and assistance to government delegations during organized business trips and events.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Management Board and the Operations Team in carrying out key basic business and operational activities
• Handling tasks delegated directly by the CEO, based on the company’s current business needs and priorities
• Ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the newly opened company’s office in Breda, the Netherlands
• Providing day-to-day operational support to managers based in the Netherlands
• Frequent business travel - approximately 60 trips per year to industry events serving government and strategic institutions
• Providing day-to-day support and assistance to government delegations during business trips and events
• Ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with client requirements, internal procedures, and applicable standards

Requirements

• Previous experience working closely with a Management Board or senior executives is an advantage
• Experience working with government or public-sector organizations is an advantage
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks
• Highly developed communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships
• Experience in preparing reports, summaries, presentations, and business documentation is an advantage
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and international environment
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently for business
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken
• Willingness to undertake frequent business travel
• Experience in the government, military, defense, or related sectors is an advantage
