Operations Supervisor

About the Position

We are seeking an Operations Supervisor for our team in Kocaeli, Türkiye, to ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable port operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe, efficient, and uninterrupted execution of daily operations.
• Coordinate shift teams according to operational plans.
• Monitor field operations and respond quickly to operational disruptions.
• Organize necessary equipment and personnel to complete operational plans on time.
• Coordinate with operational teams, site planning, and related departments.
• Ensure operations are conducted in compliance with health and safety, environment, quality, and company procedures.
• Monitor the performance of field teams and provide necessary guidance.
• Proactively manage delays, risks, and irregularities during operations.
• Actively participate in shift meetings and operational evaluation processes.
• Support the safe execution of all operational processes, including hazardous cargo operations.

Requirements

• University degree, preferably in Maritime, Logistics, Transportation, Business, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in port operations.
• Ability to adapt to shift work schedules and flexible working hours.
• Strong team management, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to monitor operational processes and make quick decisions.
• Proficiency in health and safety regulations and a commitment to a safe working culture.
• Active use of MS Office programs.
• Class B driver's license.
• Knowledge of port equipment, terminal operations, and site processes.
• Solution-oriented and results-oriented in a high-paced operational environment.
