About Woven by Toyota
Woven by Toyota is contributing to Toyota's transformation into a once-in-a-century mobility company. Inspired by the history of inventing "for someone else," our mission is to expand the definition of mobility and the ways it can contribute to society, challenging the conventional wisdom of mobility with people-centric innovation.
We operate around four pillars: AD/ADAS technology for autonomous and advanced driver assistance systems, Arene, a vehicle software production platform for SDV (Software-Defined Vehicle), Woven City, a mobility test course, and Cloud & AI, the digital infrastructure supporting the collaborative foundation. Together with business-critical functions that underpin these teams' implementations, we are united in our pursuit of achieving a "zero-accident society" and "mass happiness."
About the Team
Toyota is redefining the meaning of mobility. We move people, things, information, and energy, continually challenging the conventional wisdom of mobility. Woven City, as a test course where various types of mobility are created and tested, aims for mass happiness with the concept of a human-centered city, a city of real experiments, and an unfinished city.
Woven City brings together diverse colleagues who share a vision for future mobility. Inventors, residents, and visitors will live in a test course shaped like a city where people, mobility, and social infrastructure are interconnected, demonstrating various products and services.
The Ops Support System team is developing systems to support the overall operations of the city. The team's mission is to maximize the efficiency of city operations by developing and operating systems and applications at low cost using cloud-based managed services. By visualizing various metrics, the team promotes a rapid cycle of high-quality DevOps, contributing to the improvement of service development performance and quality.
