Order Processor (m/f/d)

Responsibilities
- Ensure timely, cost-effective, and customer-focused order and shipping processing in both domestic and international contexts.
- Gather customer requests and needs, advise customers, and work with relevant departments to develop appropriate technical and scheduling solutions.
- Work with relevant departments to develop solutions and coordinate them with customers when scheduling issues arise.
- Determine the shipping and packaging methods as well as the scope of shipment, obtain transportation quotes, place orders, and arrange the necessary freight space.
- Prepare and coordinate the necessary shipping, customs, and export documents and handle the standard customs formalities in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Process letter of credit and certification requests and ensure that all documentation is complete and forwarded as required.
- Monitor the timely and proper handling of shipments and orders and take appropriate action in the event of deviations.
- Plan and manage project components, track quality, costs, and deadlines, and report on the project status.
- Investigate technical issues during post-delivery support, coordinate with the relevant departments, and assist in implementing solutions.
Requirements
- Completed a business apprenticeship, ideally in freight forwarding, logistics, manufacturing, or international trade, or a relevant degree or comparable qualification.
- Professional experience in shipping, order processing, scheduling, export, or a similar field.
- Good understanding of domestic and international shipping and transportation procedures, as well as customs and export processes.
- Proficient in handling shipping and customs documents and, ideally, experience with letter of credit transactions.
- Good IT skills, particularly in SAP and MS Office.
- Good to very good written and spoken English skills; knowledge of other foreign languages is a plus.
- Good technical understanding and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
