Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Provide expert care for patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Preparation: Prepare the operating room and necessary instruments and medical devices.
• Assistance: Perform sterile and non-sterile assistance, including instrument handling and support roles.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure a smooth, hygienic, and patient-centered surgical process.
• Compliance: Implement hygiene, quality, and safety standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with doctors and the interdisciplinary surgical team.
• Documentation: Maintain meticulous records and handle medical products appropriately.

Requirements

• Qualification: Completed training as an Operationstechnical Assistant (OTA) or equivalent.
• Language Skills: Fluent in German (B2 level or higher).
• Attributes: Responsibility, reliability, and meticulous work ethic.
• Teamwork: Strong team spirit, empathy, and enjoyment in working with others.
• Availability: Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience: Previous experience in an operating room is a plus; motivated newcomers are also welcome.
