Kaleida Health is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Specialty Pharmacist to join our team in Eastern, KY. This role involves managing specialty medications and providing patient care in a unique healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Provide specialized care for patients with complex medical conditions.
• Clinical Knowledge: Utilize clinical expertise to manage therapies and conditions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all specialty pharmacy patient care policies and regulatory requirements.
• Pharmacovigilance: Report on pharmacovigilance and act as a clinical subject matter expert for specialty medications.
• Collaboration: Support healthcare practitioners, including pharmacists, providers, nurses, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Education: BS in Pharmacy required; PHARMD - Doctor of Pharmacy preferred.
• Experience: 1 year of experience as a pharmacist or pharmacy intern required; 2 years of experience in dispensing complex medications preferred.
• Certifications: Board of Pharmacy Specialties within 1 year required.

We Offer

• Competitive Salary: Range from $114,338.25 to $157,212.41 per year.
• Work Arrangement: Onsite position.
• Standard Hours: 80.00 bi-weekly hours.
• Scheduled Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm.
• On Call: Required.
• Rotation: Yes.
