Paid Media Specialist, Media Solutions for Carnegie

Responsibilities

Cross-Channel Campaign Management (Search, Social, Display, Programmatic)

  • Lead the setup and execution of Paid Media campaigns across paid social, paid search, and Programmatic.
  • Execute optimizations around keyword performance, campaign structure, targeting, and other facets of Paid Search, Social Media, and Display programs.
  • Oversee the setup of Programmatic Display, Video, and Audio campaigns in DV360, Spotify, and other DSPs.
  • Lead optimization across Programmatic campaigns focusing on inventory curation, placements optimization, audience targeting, addressability, deliverability, and bid strategies.
  • Support the Strategy team on proposal requests and RFPs.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Data Analysis: Extract in-platform and Looker Studio data to generate monthly client-facing performance reports.
  • Budget Pacing: Monitor campaign pacing and delivery to ensure strict adherence to budget and targeting parameters.
  • Performance Optimization: Track cross-channel KPIs (Search, Social, Display) and provide data-driven recommendations to improve cost per lead.
  • Insight Generation: Report on A/B test results, creative performance, search query intent, and audience targeting effectiveness.

Internal Teamwork

  • Work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Coordinate strategically with other internal specialists, including the Strategy and Creative teams, to develop fully integrated campaigns that meet client goals.
  • Show thought leadership by keeping pace with industry trends across Search, Social, and Display landscapes and offering ideas about process improvements, best practices, and tests.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Effective communication and time management skills for a remote work environment as well as the ability to use/learn multiple technology platforms and switch between them on a regular basis.
  • Expertise using project management tools such as Asana, Jira, Trello, Basecamp, etc.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to effectively multitask in a deadline-driven atmosphere.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical-thinking skills through independent troubleshooting of issues.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new and changing technologies.
  • Clear written communication skills, both internally and externally.
  • Passion, energy, and enthusiasm for digital marketing and client success.

Credentials and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Marketing/Advertising major or concentration preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience working in Paid Search (Google Ads), experience managing paid social campaigns across top social platforms (e.g. Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Snapchat Business Manager, and/or TikTok Ads) and Programmatic using DV360 or other comparable DSPs.
  • Data analysis experience preferred, particularly in analyzing digital campaign metrics to measure success.
  • Background in performance marketing campaigns (with focus on ROAS/ROI/CPL optimization) is preferred.
  • Experience working with international agencies with globally distributed teams is a plus.
  • Advanced English proficiency (B2–C1 or higher).
