Part-time Administrative Project Officer – GorBEEA

About the Position

The Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3) is looking for a Part-time Administrative Project Officer to support the research activities of Research Line (RL) 3 on Terrestrial Ecosystems, and specifically work on the national project GORBEEA, funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.

Responsibilities

• Support the PI in the management of the project
• Manage interactions with specialists on ethical and legal aspects
• Manage social media interactions and communications of project results
• Support the organization of project meetings and conferences across the project, including financial and administrative aspects
• Organization of travel and accommodation needs during the project

Requirements

• Main Requirements:
  • Masters or PhD degree
  • Excellent management skills related to administration, finance, and communication
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent written and oral command of English and Spanish
  • Manage social media
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a large group of people

Nice to Have

• Experience in similar administrative roles
• Previous experience in managing research projects

Term of Contract

Starting 1st of January 2024, the position will be for 5 years, with a six-month probation period.
