About the Position
Data Science UA is a service company with deep expertise in AI and Data Science. Our story started in 2016 with the first Data Science UA Conference in Kyiv, and since then, we’ve built one of the largest AI communities in Europe.
We are looking for a Part-time Product Manager to build, validate, and launch a fintech mobile/web product for English-speaking markets from scratch. You will drive the entire lifecycle, starting from a comprehensive Product Discovery phase all the way to the official release.
Responsibilities
- Product Discovery & Hypothesis Validation: Conduct deep market and competitor analysis; perform qualitative research (CustDev, user interviews); shape the Value Proposition Design Canvas, and identify Product-Market Fit.
- Business Model & Unit Economics Design: Calculate a viable monetization model; model Customer Acquisition Cost and Lifetime Value ($CAC/LTV$) for the US/UK markets; test business models and analyze digital marketing metrics.
- Retention & Activation Management: Define the optimal user onboarding journey, design retention mechanics, and build audience engagement strategies.
- Execution & Delivery: Draft Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), create prototypes, prioritize MVP scope, and provide product oversight during the launch phase.
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain alignment and close communication with the project team and the Founder.
Requirements
- Proven Track Record: Successful experience launching digital products from scratch (both mobile apps and web platforms).
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the Fintech industry or closely related niches.
- Geo Specifics: Hands-on experience targeting English-speaking markets (US & UK), with a solid grasp of their unique dynamics and regulatory landscapes.
- Growth Marketing Savvy: Strong understanding of digital marketing, traffic acquisition metrics, viral mechanics, and business model testing.
- Language Skills: Fluent spoken and written English.
