About the Position

Spendbase is a global Fintech company helping tech companies control and optimize spend across SaaS, Cloud services, and Payments. We work closely with leading vendors and ecosystems across cloud and software procurement, including hyperscalers such as Google Cloud, AWS, Microsoft, and similar. Partnerships at Spendbase are commercial, strategic, and deeply tied to revenue growth - from reseller and referral models to ecosystem collaborations and vendor relationships.

We’re looking for a Partner Manager to join us initially in a flexible part-time / freelance format, with potential to transition into a full-time role over time. We’re looking for someone who understands how tech partnerships actually work behind the scenes: building relationships, navigating vendor ecosystems, opening commercial opportunities, and helping partnerships turn into real pipeline and revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow partnerships across cloud, SaaS, fintech, and adjacent tech ecosystems
  • Build relationships with vendors, partners, resellers, agencies, consultants, and ecosystem players relevant to Spendbase’s growth
  • Identify and launch new partnership opportunities that can drive customer acquisition, revenue, or strategic positioning
  • Own partner communication and move partnership discussions from intro stage to active collaboration
  • Help manage and grow existing vendor and partner relationships, including identifying upsell, co-selling, and joint GTM opportunities
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, product, marketing, engineering, and compliance teams to support partnership initiatives
  • Maintain visibility into partnership performance, pipeline contribution, and commercial impact
  • Contribute to shaping and scaling Spendbase’s partnership strategy as the company grows

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Partnerships, Channel Sales, Business Development, or ecosystem growth roles
  • Hands-on experience working with vendor ecosystems, reseller/channel partnerships, cloud partnerships, or strategic B2B collaborations
  • Understanding of how partnership-led growth works in SaaS, Cloud, Fintech, or infrastructure-related businesses
  • Experience working with hyperscalers or large tech ecosystems such as Google Cloud, AWS, Microsoft, or similar vendors is a strong plus
  • Ability to independently manage conversations with partners from first contact to active collaboration
  • Commercial mindset - someone who sees partnerships not just as relationships, but as a revenue and growth channel
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment with evolving priorities and a high level of ownership
  • Fluent English (additional languages are a plus)
