Responsibilities

In our Intellectual Property (IP) department, you will support international patent applications, manage our patent portfolio, and handle organizational tasks in IP risk management. Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating and administratively supporting national and international patent applications and granted rights
• Managing electronic patent files, documents, forms, and deadlines in digital systems
• Carefully monitoring deadlines and independently handling all procedures related to intellectual property
• Corresponding in German and English with inventors, internal departments, external patent attorneys, and patent offices worldwide
• Providing organizational support to the patent department, such as filing, scheduling, travel arrangements, and internal processes

Requirements

• Completed commercial education or equivalent, e.g., HAK, HLW, HASCH, or Matura
• Interest in legal and technical topics and willingness to learn about the specialized field of patent administration
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital workflows
• Experience in a legal environment or patent administration is welcome but not required

On a personal level, you should demonstrate accuracy, reliability, willingness to learn, structured work approach, discretion, teamwork, and enjoyment of international collaboration.
