About the Position

Patient Access Representative (Night Shift TC)

Join Munson Healthcare as a Patient Access Representative for night shifts in Traverse City, Michigan. Contribute to exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients, families, and visitors in a courteous and welcoming manner.
• Assist patients, families, and visitors, including transport or arranging transportation as needed.
• Obtain and verify all required patient information for registration.
• Work positively with all levels of staff to complete job responsibilities.
• Greet patients, family members, and other customers in a friendly and kind manner.
• Exercise a high degree of control over confidential medical information.
• Keep offices and work area orderly and properly stocked.
• Access department communications daily utilizing telephone voicemail and/or email.
• Make immediate changes to current information collection procedures as requested.
• Act as a preceptor for new hires to provide all levels of education required for that position.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the PAS leadership team.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or 2 years formal education or equivalent experience.
• Two (2) years' work experience in customer service, healthcare, or business-related field.
