Payment Operations Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a Payment Operations Manager to support day-to-day operations across our internal brands, external webshop projects, and banking partners. This role combines payment operations, partner communication, and compliance coordination. We’re looking for someone comfortable managing multiple parallel processes and following requests through to completion.

Responsibilities

Internal Brand Management

• Coordinate brand onboarding with acquiring and commercial banks.
• Handle and coordinate compliance requests for brands and other companies within the group, received from acquiring and commercial banks.
• Support the pre-technical setup of new brands (email, domains, hosting-related configurations).
• Monitor internal brand inboxes and follow up on requests to completion.
• Serve as a communication link between internal teams and banks, financial institutions, and acquirers.
• Coordinate and monitor activities related to web traffic for internal brands.

External Brand Management

• Support the external brands / webshop department, including customer conversion and lead management.
• Support external brand development, including new ideas, stakeholder feedback, and coordination with the tech team.

General Operations

• Manage virtual cards (balances, top-ups) and process vendor payment confirmations.
• Monitor brand KYB documents, agreements, and signature requests.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in payment operations, acquiring, or merchant account management.
• Understanding of the payment ecosystem: PSPs, acquirers, commercial banks, KYB, compliance, and onboarding processes.
• Strong coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple parallel requests and work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• High level of ownership and attention to detail – able to work independently and follow through on tasks to completion.
• Strong written and oral English for day-to-day communication.

Nice to Have

• Basic understanding of domains/web products, and experience with webshops or digital products.
