About the Position

PEGA Developer (w/m/d)

Sopra Steria, one of Europe's leading management and technology consulting firms, is seeking a dedicated PEGA Developer to join our team. This role will support service and project teams in the technical implementation, enhancement, and successful integration of PEGA within organizational processes in the Defence sector.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical point of contact for all PEGA-related inquiries and coordinate between technical and functional requirements.
• Develop and enhance existing applications and workflows, identifying optimization opportunities in processes and system solutions.
• Collaborate closely with departments, architects, and project teams to drive solutions and ensure sustainable integration.
• Support testing, quality assurance measures, and documentation to maintain high solution quality.
• Provide flexibility in project assignments, working in our offices, on-site with clients, or remotely from home.

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in PEGA platform development, such as PEGA System Architect, Developer, or Business Architect.
• Knowledge in business analysis and requirements management to structure and convert functional needs into sustainable solutions.
• Experience in implementing workflow and process automation solutions and in introducing or enhancing platform solutions in complex IT environments.
• Ideally, PEGA certification and initial experience or certifications in project management.
• Strong understanding of business processes and their digitalization, supporting the development of efficient solutions.
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented work style with excellent communication skills and a passion for collaborating with various stakeholders.
• Fluency in German (at least C1 level) and English (written and spoken).
