About the Role
meteocontrol GmbH is seeking a People & Culture Business Partner / HR Business Partner to join our team in Augsburg, Germany. This role offers flexible work options and focuses on managing the entire employee lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Advisory Role: Provide competent and solution-oriented advice to management and employees on HR and legal matters.
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Manage your areas of responsibility from hiring to departure.
- Conflict Resolution: Handle complex and sensitive HR issues such as conflicts, performance and behavior issues, organizational changes, and difficult employee discussions.
- Document Management: Create and review employment contracts, supplementary agreements, certificates, and other HR-related documents.
- Payroll Coordination: Ensure reliable payroll preparation in coordination with the People team and external payroll services.
- Learning & Development: Ensure the reliable continuation of existing learning and development measures.
- Recommendations: Consider the impact on other employees and the company as a whole when making recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to the development of our HR processes or individual projects as needed. The main focus of the role is on operational and advisory HR partnering.
Requirements
- Experience: Several years of experience as an HR Business Partner, People & Culture Business Partner, Senior HR Specialist, or in a similar generalist HR role.
- Knowledge: Solid knowledge of German individual employment law and confidence in managing the entire employee lifecycle.
- Skills: Experience in handling challenging HR discussions and the necessary sensitivity for delicate situations.
- Work Ethic: Structured, independent, and reliable work approach with a high standard of quality.
- Business Acumen: Entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to develop viable solutions for employees and meteocontrol.
- Pragmatism: A hands-on mentality and willingness to reliably handle administrative tasks.
- Languages: Excellent German and English skills (minimum B2).
- Personality: Clarity, reliability, and a sense of humor, even when a workday doesn't go as planned.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office.
