About the Position

People Director, Business Teams

We are seeking an experienced People Director to join our global People team and act as the People Director for our Business Teams, including Brand Insights, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Sales, Solutions Consulting, and Support.

As the dedicated People partner for our Business Teams, you will be the key point of contact for employees, managers, and senior leaders across these functions, providing support across the full employee lifecycle and partnering with leaders on their people and organizational priorities. You will work across multiple countries, combining strategic business partnering with hands-on People Operations support to navigate complex People topics and help build high-performing teams.

You will also act as a senior People lead for Italy, bringing strong local expertise and ownership while working closely with the wider global People team.

This is a broad, senior individual contributor hands-on role for someone comfortable moving between strategic conversations with senior leaders and the day-to-day realities of supporting managers and employees across an international organization.

Responsibilities

Business Partnering

  • Act as the primary People partner for our Business Teams, building strong relationships with senior leaders and providing practical, commercially focused advice across the full range of People topics.
  • Partner with leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and organizational change, helping ensure their teams and structures evolve in line with business needs.
  • Drive performance and talent priorities across your functions, including performance reviews and calibration, talent and succession planning, development, retention, and the management of underperformance.
  • Coach and advise leaders on complex employee relations and performance matters, ensuring issues are managed appropriately, consistently, and through to resolution, partnering with employment counsel where required.
  • Identify People risks, trends, and opportunities across the functions you support and work with leaders and the wider People team to translate these into appropriate actions.

Italy People Leadership

  • Act as the senior People lead for Italy, providing expertise and guidance on Italian employment practices and ensuring local requirements are reflected in our People approach.
  • Lead complex employee relations, organizational change, and other sensitive People matters within Italy, partnering with managers, external counsel, and other stakeholders where required.
  • Provide senior oversight across the Italian employee lifecycle, ensuring local People practices remain compliant, effective, and aligned with our global approach.

People Operations

  • Work with the global People Operations team to deliver key People processes across the employee lifecycle, including compensation, benefits, performance, policies, compliance, and employee documentation.
  • Ensure global People programs and processes are implemented effectively across the Business Teams and Italy, with clear ownership, accurate data, and appropriate follow-through.
  • Contribute to the global People objectives, projects, and the continuous improvement of our policies, processes, and ways of working.

Requirements

Essential

  • Significant experience in a senior HR Business Partner, People Partner, or People Operations role within an international organization, partnering directly with senior leaders.
  • Strong knowledge of Italian employment practices, with hands-on experience managing complex employee relations, performance matters, and restructurings.
  • Strong experience across performance and talent management, organizational design, workforce planning, and organizational change.
  • Pragmatic and able to operate independently, with strong judgment and discretion when managing complex and sensitive People matters.
  • Fluent in English and Italian.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting customer-facing functions such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Solutions Consulting, or Support.
  • Experience working across multiple countries and navigating different employment practices and cultures.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, international SaaS environment.

We Offer

  • Competitive salary range of €65,000.00 - €75,000.00.
  • On-site work location in Italy.
  • Full-time employment.
  • Opportunity to work in a dynamic and inclusive company culture.
  • Access to growth and advancement possibilities, including a learning and development allowance, a benefits package tailored to each location, and flexible work arrangements.
  • Support for establishing your home office and other perks.
