Responsibilities
- Plan and execute end-to-end performance testing for enterprise-level backend platforms.
- Define performance test objectives and key metrics aligned with business and engineering goals.
- Develop, debug, and optimize JMeter scripts for complex test scenarios.
- Execute distributed and high-concurrency load tests to simulate realistic traffic patterns.
- Identify system bottlenecks through detailed performance analysis and root cause investigation.
- Collaborate with backend developers, DevOps, and QA teams to improve system scalability and resilience.
- Continuously refine performance testing strategy, tools, and automation pipelines.
- Experience in performance testing over common protocols such as HTTP, WebSocket, gRPC, and Dubbo is a strong plus.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with JMeter, including scripting, test planning, and distributed execution.
- Strong knowledge of performance testing methodology and bottleneck analysis.
- Familiar with backend architecture and system metrics (CPU, memory, GC, I/O, network).
- Practical experience with protocols such as HTTP, WebSocket, gRPC, or Dubbo is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in analyzing server logs, APM tools, and monitoring dashboards.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of performance tests into the release process.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and data-driven mindset.
