About the Position

Performance Marketing Specialist

At Avenga, we believe that human creativity empowers technology that matters. Operating globally, our 6000+ specialists provide a full spectrum of services, including business and tech advisory, enterprise solutions, CX, UX and UI design, managed services, product development, and software development.

We are looking for a Performance Marketing Specialist to join our team and support the execution and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

In this role, you will work closely with marketing, creative, and development teams to ensure campaigns are effectively implemented, tracked, and continuously improved. You will play a key role in analyzing performance data, identifying optimization opportunities, and ensuring smooth coordination between stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and optimize Google Ads campaigns on a daily basis, tracking key metrics (CTR, CPC, CVR, CPA, ROAS) and implementing improvements (bids, keywords, ad copy, budgets).
  • Conduct keyword research, search term analysis, and maintain campaign structures, including negative keyword lists.
  • Manage and maintain GA4 and GTM setups, implement tracking, and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
  • Support conversion tracking setup and validation across campaigns and website updates.
  • Build and maintain Looker Studio dashboards and prepare performance reports and ad-hoc analyses.
  • Translate data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with development teams on tracking, landing pages, and technical implementations.
  • Collaborate with creative teams on ad assets and ensure alignment with campaign goals.
  • Track task execution, ensure quality of deliverables, and act as a bridge between marketing strategy and execution.
  • Support daily activities, maintain documentation, and assist with onboarding of new tools and processes.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Performance Max).
  • Solid experience with campaign optimization – bid adjustments, keyword management, ad copy testing, and budget management.
  • Good understanding of conversion tracking setup and troubleshooting within Google Ads.
  • Strong working knowledge of GA4 – event tracking, audience building, and funnel analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager – tags, triggers, and variables.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience with Looker Studio – building dashboards and combining data sources.
  • Strong Excel / Microsoft Office skills – pivot tables, formulas, and reporting.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with web/development teams and review implementations.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, UTM parameters, and URL structures is a plus.
  • Experience with landing page optimization – identifying conversion barriers and recommending improvements to page layout, messaging, forms, and calls-to-action to improve conversion rates.
  • Strong attention to detail and structured approach to work.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Meta Ads Manager.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Exposure to B2B marketing and lead generation campaigns.
